In 2018, I worked on “Germ City” a collaboration with the Museum of the City of New York and the New York Academy of Medicine and the international project, “Contagious Cities.” Together we looked at how contagious cities have shaped cities.

For the collaboration, I worked on a series of stories:

• Plague of Suspicion – I co-hosted On The Media with Bob Garfield
• How Infectious Disease Shaped NYC – appeared on the Brian Lehrer Show with MCNY curator, Rebecca Jacobs
• The Strange History of NYC’s Swinburne and Hoffman Islands and New Exhibit Shows You All The Ways NYC Was And Is Covered In Germs – wrote some stories for Gothamist and the WNYC newsroom
